Why wouldn't the New York times wait until we were into the General election if they?

want to cause McCain trouble with these allegations, by releasing them now will they not fade away and allow plenty of time for Real? Since they endorsed McCain before Super Tuesday could this be his way of keeping the lime light on his Campaign, even bad coverage is better than no coverage?
