Stye!!! Help!!!?

i have a stye on my eye (bottom lid) ive been hot compressing it but nothing. its red and its not painfull its been there for 3 weeks now and my mom wont take me to the doctor because she says she used to get them all the time and its unnessasery! i really want to get this of my face! HELP ME!!!
