I have a polaris 340 indy sport . When the gas tank is full, it runs fine, but wont start after 3/4. Help!!?

I have a polaris 340 indy sport . When the gas tank is full, it runs fine, but when it gets down to about 3/4, It has a hard time starting because it starves for fuel. Is there a fuel pump in the tank ?
