Can i turn my snowboard into a jib board?

I have a nitro pantera LX and i wanna know if its possible to curve the edges and make it into a jib board? Its a 700$ dollar board so i dont wanna completly kill it. Last year i had to use a terrible Palmer board.. it was garbage and i remember i would catch an edge when i was doing handrails, not fun! Haha well hit me up if its possible.
